🕛 Citroen Berlingo 1.6 Hdi Starter Motor Location
A very simple tip to try and help you remove and re fit the auxiliary drive belt aka serpentine belt or fanbelt on a 1.6 diesel engine, a very common engine
Přijel jsem normálně domů k baráku, motor jsem zhasnul, po vyložení nákladu asi za 10minut chci nastartovat a z motoru se ozve akorát bl bl bl, vše točí startér, motor ale prostě to nechytne. Hned jsem to projel diagnostikou žádná závada. No asi po 15minutách to z ničeho nic chytlo. Máte někdo stím zkušenosti.
The relay had blown. To help others, the relay is located underneath the fuse box in the glove compartment. The glove compartment surround needs to be removed to access this - just undo the screws and pull out. Best Answer. Copy. The starter motor on a Citrogen Berlingo can be changed by first removing the electrical wires. Remove the three bolts that hold the starter in place. The starter will come out

How to change starter motor on a citroen berlingo 2000 model 1.4 petrol. Starter is mounted on passenger side of the bell-housing. Remove 1 end of support bar bolted on bottom side of frame and swing it out of the way. Remove the starter's 2 mounting bolts. Reposition solonoid posts to face you.

As usual, all tips, experience & suggestions welcome. Getting the 1.6 hdi hot takes a long time. Fill the expansion tank, run the engine until the thermostat has opened (top hose hot) then blip the throttle a few times, the air should be out. Top up the expansion tank if it's down then turn off and let it cool.
Now it's getting almost impossible to start. I can hear the clunk from the solenoid so voltage is getting through. Have replaced the battery so that's not an issue. Tested the earth with a jump lead from the negative to the engine block and that's not the problem, have physically checked the earth connection as well.

Thanks jj9, but in the book post 2002 models it's on top of the transmission, on mine I can see the can see the wire and the plug and using a mirror see the sensor, just need better
Citroen Berlingo 1.6 hdi - Fuel rail pressure low- fault code P1113 - Karl M G : Hi, i've got a bit of a troublesome problem with my 2006 Berlingo 1.6 hdi. The problem started about a week ago, when the engine gets warm and you go above 2500rpm the engine starts to splutter and cut out.
If it's a com2000 variety ie a later lingo from say 02-09 then the fuel pump relay is built into the psf1 (passenger side fuse box aka the big board with twenty odd fuses behind the passenger side headlight) under the bonnet and isn't swappable by itself, it's a replace the lot job as its soldered in and potted, however I will add that I have only ever had wiring faults and power supply faults
